Warrensburgh Beautification Inc. (WBI) will present a Summer Garden Tour & Presentation on Saturday, July 8th from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Our self-guided tour will feature both public and private gardens in the Town of Warrensburgh and surrounding areas. Brief histories of the gardens will be provided to enhance the experience of the tour and a map will be included. Refreshments will be offered at the presentation. Raffle prizes will be donated by local businesses. Proceeds to benefit the Warren Tannery Park and Heritage Trail.
Charlie Nardozzi, nationally recognized garden writer, speaker, radio and television personality, will discuss the topic of Plants for Problem Places and reveal the best trees, shrubs, perennials and ground covers for problem areas such as hot, sunny areas; dry shade, wet shade, deep shade, slopes, edge of ponds and clay soil, The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. and be held at the Warren County CCE on 377 Schroon River Road. The hour long presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
Tickets are available prior to July 8th at Edward Jones, 3755 Main Street and the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmers' Market. Program Pick Up and Day of Tour Ticket Sales will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Warrensburgh Museum of Local History, 3754 Main Street. Advance Sales: $15.00 and Day of Sales: $20.00.
