TOWN OF WARRENSBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Warrensburg will hold a Public Hearing on July 12, 2023 at 7:00 pm, Town Hall, 3797 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY 12885 for the purpose of hearing comments on the Town of Warrensburg community development needs, and to discuss the submission of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application for the 2023 program year. The CDBG program is administered by the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR), and will make available to eligible local governments approximately $10,000,000 for the 2023 program year for housing, economic development, public facilities, public infrastructure, and planning activities, with the principal purpose of benefitting low/moderate income persons. The Town of Warrensburg is applying for $400,000 in CDBG funds to make available to eligible Town residents for housing rehabilitation. The hearing will provide information about the proposed project and activities, including how the project will meet primary and national objectives, and allow for citizen participation in the development of any proposed grant applications. Draft pre-application materials will be available for public review at the public hearing and upon request from (insert dates). The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.
The Town Hall, 3797 Main Street, Warrensburg NY 12885 is accessible to persons with disabilities and all persons interested in this subject will be heard at this time and place.
