NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a regular meeting held on August 10, 2022, the Warrensburg Town Board adopted a Resolution approving a Town-wide Ambulance District in accordance with Article 12-A of New York Town Law. The Resolution is subject to permissive referendum pursuant to Article 7 and Section 209-e of Town Law. An abstract of the Resolution is as follows: The Town Board made the following determinations relating to the proposed District: (a) notice of the Public Hearing was published and posted as required by law and is otherwise sufficient; (b) all of the property and property owners within the proposed District will be benefited thereby; (c) all of the property and property owners benefited are included within the boundaries of the proposed District; and (d) the establishment of the District as described in the Map, Plan and Report is in the public interest. The Board approved the establishment of the District as the boundaries are set forth in the Map, Plan and Report and providing of the services described in the Map, Plan and Report subject to (i) permissive referendum in the manner provided in Town Law Article 7 and (ii) adoption of a Final Order by the Town Board.
A full copy of the Resolution is on file in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall, 3797 Main St, Warrensburg, New York 12885 and can be examined by any Town elector during normal business hours.
