PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
2024 PRELIMINARY BUDGET MEETING
NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Warrensburg, Warren County NY, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024 has been completed and filed in the Office of the Town Clerk, 3797 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY where it is available for inspection during business hours. FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the Town Board will conduct a public hearing on the proposed budget at the Albert Emerson Town Hall, 3797 Main Street, Warrensburg NY on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. At such hearing any persons may be heard in regards to Preliminary Budget as compiled. Pursuant to Section 113 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries for the following Town Officials are:
Supervisor $45,717.84
Town Clerk / Tax Collector $52,472.32
Highway Superintendent $62,000.00
Town Justice (2) $17,413.00 each
Town Councilpersons (4) $6,180.00 each
FURTHER NOTICE is given that pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 495 Exemption report that shows total assessed value on the final assessment roll that is exempt from taxation and how much of the total assessed value on the final assessment roll used in the budget process and is on file with the 2024 Preliminary Budget.
