NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON A PROPOSED LOCAL LAW TO AMEND CERTAIN PROVISIONS
OF CHAPTER 211 OF THE TOWN CODE ENTITLED “ZONING”
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Warrensburg Town Board will hold a Public Hearing at the Warrensburg Town Hall, 3797 Main Street, Warrensburg, New York, at 7:00 p.m., on September 13, 2023 to hear all persons interested on the matter of adoption of a proposed Local Law entitled “a Local Law to amend Chapter 211 ‘Zoning’ of the Town of Warrensburg Town Code to add the keeping and raising of fowl as a use accessory to residential and agricultural uses in all zoning districts and to authorize enforcement by Code Enforcement Officer. If adopted, the Local Law would designate the keeping of fowl (subject to stated limitations and requirements) as a use accessory to residential and agricultural uses. It would also effectuate other changes to Sections 64, 66 and 67 of the Town Code to, among other things, include the Code Enforcement Officer as an enforcement official for purposes of the Zoning Chapter.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that a copy of the proposed Local Law is on file with the Town Clerk’s Office.
